At
Futral Road Elementary School in Griffin, Georgia,
students, staff, teachers, and parents worked together
to raise awareness and funds to address the plight of
the honey bee. They produced The Planet of the Bee – a
play by Sandra Lee Hughes. The project was awarded grant
support from the Georgia Council for the Arts and
Alternate ROOT.
